ADStep across before the ball arrives · M field map
Tap a direction just before the ball reaches you: up to drive straight, the diagonals to drive or play fine, the sides to play square, the middle to block. Loft hits it in the air; Sweep, Rev and Scoop change the stroke; Step moves you across.
Swipe left or right fast to play to that side, angle the swipe upward to hit it in the air. Swipe down for a straight drive. Push toward the camera to block. Lifting your hand is your backlift and is ignored. Drift sideways slowly to step across the crease. Press C to recentre. Keys still work as a backup.
